NOTIFICATION

The 8th March, 2019

S.R.O. No. 98/2019— Whereas, the District Magistrate and Collector, Mayurbhanj,

was appointed as the Administrator of Baripada Municipality vide this Department

Notification No. 30810, dated the 3rd December, 2018 and Notification No. 3228/HUD.,

dated the 12th February, 2019 to exercise the powers and perform the functions

of Baripada Municipality during the interval between the expiry of the term of the office of

the councillors and date of the first meeting of the newly elected councillors;

Now, in supersession to this Department Notifications No 3228/HUD., dated the

12th February, 2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of

Section 401 of the Odisha Municipal Act, 1950 (Odisha Act 23 of 1950) the State

Government do hereby appoint Ms. Aboli Sunil Narabane, IAS A.D.M. Mayurbhanj as the

Administrator, to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Baripada

Municipality in addition to her own duties until the councils is constituted for the said

area in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
