ORDER

The 16th March, 2019

No. 684/C.— In exercise of the power conferred by Section 28A of the

Representation of People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) the State Government do here by

designate the following Police Officers for the purpose of conduct of Simultaneous General

Elections to Lok Sabha and Odisha Legislative Assembly, 2019 to be held in four phases

on the 11th April, 2019, 18th April, 2019, 23rd April, 2019 and 29th April, 2019.

i. The DG & IG of Police/Additional DsG of Police.

ii. The IsG of Police.

iii. Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack,

Bhubaneswar.

iv. All Range IsG of Police.

v. The DIG of Police (Administration)

vi. All Range DIsG of Police.

vii. All

Superintendents

of

Police/Deputy

Commissioner

of

Police,

Cuttack/Bhubaneswar.

viii. SRP, Cuttack/Rourkela.

ix. All Police Officers subordinate to them i.e. below the level of Director

General & Inspector General of Police borne on the strength of the State

Government including Home Guards and ex-servicemen etc. who are in any

way in election related arrangements performed duties in connection with

the conduct of elections.

This order shall remain in force till the declaration of the result of the aforesaid

General Elections.
