NOTIFICATION

S.R.O. No. 172/2019— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-

section (9) of Section 2 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and in partial

modification of this Department Notification No. 21063/R&DM., dated the 1st June,

2007, published in the Extraordinary issue of the Odisha Gazette bearing No.1125, dated

the 5th July, 2007, the State Government do hereby appoint the Sub-Registrars who are

working in District Headquarters registration offices as collectors to exercise the powers of

the collector under section 47-A of the said Act as applicable to the State of Odisha within

their respective jurisdiction.
