NOTIFICATION

The 10th June, 2019

S.R.O. No.199/2019—It has been brought to the notice of the Commission by the

Secretary of the Odisha Co-operative Society Ltd., Balasore & Vide his Letter No. 664,

dated the 10th May, 2019 of ARCS, Balasore Circle that Shri Rudra Sankar Barik,

President of the Odisha Co-operative Society Ltd., Balasore has resigned. It has been

requested to fill up the vacancy in the office of President of the Society arising due to

resignation.

Now, therefore, it is ordered that the vacancy in the office of President of The

Odisha Co-operative Society Ltd., Balasore, shall be filled up in the same manner as it

was originally filled up as required under Section 28(6) of the OCS Act, 1962.

Shri Prasanta Kumar Swain, SARCS, office of the ARCS, Balasore Circle is here by

appointed as the Election Officer to conduct the election of office of the President of The

Odisha Co-operative Society Ltd., Balasore with a direction to take up the election

programme from the stage of filing of nomination so as to conduct the poll, if necessary,

on Dt. 14.07.2019 by following due procedure as prescribed in the OCS Act, 1962 & OCS

(Elections to the Committees) Rules, 1992 and Circulars/Guidelines issued by this

Commission from time to time.
