NOTIFICATION

The 29th June, 2019

No.13383-SME-FE-OES-0020/2019/SME.― Consequent upon reorganization of the

District, some schools of Cuttack revenue district have been functioning under the

administrative control of District Education Officer, Jagatsinghpur. Such type of anomaly is

creating inconvenience for the district administration. In order to streamline the educational

administration coterminous with the district administration , Government have been pleased

to decide that the following schools functioning under the District Education Officer,

Jagatsinghpur will come under the administrative control of District Education Officer,

Cuttack.

The list of the Schools is appended here to as Annexure ‘A’

The above decision is subject to the terms and condition as below:―

(i)

The State cadre teaching and non-teaching employees of both Government

Secondary and Elementary Schools will continue in the schools as such but

they will be under administrative control of D.E.O., Cuttack and concerned

B.E.Os. of Cuttack District. Their service matters will be dealt with by D.E.O.,

Cuttack and concerned B.E.Os. of Cuttack District as the case may be.

(ii)

The District cadre teaching and non-teaching employees of both Government

Secondary and Elementary Schools will be given option to continue in

Jagatsinghpur District. In that case they will be transferred to other schools of

Jagatsinghpur Revenue District. Efforts should be made to accommodate them

in vacancies available of nearest schools of Jagatsinghpur Revenue District.

Their position in the gradation list shall be maintained as such.

(iii)

The District Cadre employees not exercising option will continue as such in the

present schools and they will be placed at appropriate position in the gradation

list as per Inter Se seniority. The principle of being junior most in cadre on inter-

district transfer shall not apply to these cases.

(iv)

The appropriate budgetary amount will be transferred to Cuttack District.

(v)

The MDM and other schemes of these Schools will be under the control of the

D.E.O. / D.P.C. / Cuttack and concerned Block of Cuttack District and the funds

will be redistributed accordingly.

(vi)

Appropriate action on UDISE code of Schools will be taken.

(vii)

All Private Schools, Madrasa, Sanskrit Tols of the Cuttack Revenue District

functioning now under administrative control of District Education Officer,

Jagatsinghpur will be under the administrative control of D.E.O., Cuttack /

concerned B.E.Os. of Cuttack District as the case may be.

This Order will come into force with immediate effect.
