NOTIFICATION

The 11th July, 2019

S.R.O.No.237/2019― Whereas, the first meeting of the Council of Balangir

Municipality and Titlagarh Municipality was held on 11th July, 2014 and the five years term of

the said Council expired on 10th July, 2019;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of Section 401

of the Odisha Municipal Act ,1950 (Odisha Act, 23 of 1950) the State Government do hereby

appoint the District Magistrate & Collector, Balangir and Project Director, D.R.D.A., Balangir

as the Administrators to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Balangir

Municipality and Titlagarh Municipality respectively during the interval period between expiry

of the term of the office of the Councillors of the said Municipalities till the date of the first

meeting of the newly elected Councillors.
