ORDER

The 11th July, 2019

No.1668/C.― In exercise of the power conferred by Section 28A of the Representation

of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) the State Government do here by designate the

following Police Officers for the purpose of conduct of General Elections, 2019 to fill vacancy

from 96-Patkura Assembly Constituency in Odisha Legislative Assembly where poll was

adjourned, to be held on the 20th July, 2019 (Saturday).

(i)

The D.G. & I.G. of Police/Additional D.G. of Police.

(ii)

The Is.G. of Police.

(iii)

Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack,

Bhubaneswar.

(iv)

Range I.G. of Police.

(v)

The D.I.G. of Police (Administration)

(vi)

Range D.Is.G. of Police.

(vii)

Superintendent of Police,Kendrapara / Deputy Commissioner of Police,

Cuttack/ Bhubaneswar.

(viii)

S.R.P., Cuttack.

(ix)

All Police Officers subordinate to them i.e. below the level of Director

General & Inspector General of Police borne on the strength of the State

Government including Home Guards and ex-servicemen etc. who are

involved in any way in election related arrangements, perform duties in

connection with the conduct of elections.

This order shall remain in force till the declaration of the result of the aforesaid General

Elections.
