NOTIFICATION

The 19th July, 2019

S.R.O.No.242/2019― Whereas, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Northern Division)

Sambalpur was appointed as the Administrator of Rourkela Municipal Corporation vide this

Department Notification No. 4473/HUD., dated the 17th February, 2018 to exercise the

powers and perform the functions of Rourkela Municipal Corporation in addition to his duties.

Now, in supersession to the aforesaid notification and in exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 695 of the Odisha Municipal Corporation Act, 2003

(Odisha Act 11 of 2003) the Government do hereby appoint District Magistrate and Collector,

Sundargarh as the Administrator, to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the

Rourkela Municipal Corporation in addition to his own duties until further orders.
