NOTIFICATION

The 21st August, 2019

No.4269‒IIEX-23/2019/Ex.―Whereas, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central

Division), Cuttack was entrusted vide Excise Department Notification No.2175, dated the

2nd May, 2019 published in the Extraordinary issue No.842 of the Odisha Gazette dated the

2nd May, 2019 to enquire into and report in respect of the matters mentioned in the said

notification within thirty days from the date of publication of the said Notification in the Odisha

Gazette;

Whereas, the time stipulated in the said notification was extended for the period of thirty

days in Excise Department notification No.2877, dated the 12th June, 2019 published in the

Extraordinary issue No.988, dated 12th June, 2019.

And, whereas, a request has been received from Revenue Divisional Commissioner

(Central Division), Cuttack vide letter No.81, dated the 9th June, 2019 to extend the time

stipulated in the said notification for a further period of forty-five days as the enquiry could not

be completed due to insufficient time given;

Now, therefore, the State Government after careful consideration do hereby make

following amendment to the said notification, namely:―

AMENDMENT

In the said notification for the words “within thirty days from the date of publication of this

notification in the Odisha Gazette” appearing in the recital portion, the words and figures

“by 30th September, 2019” shall be substituted.
