to

Department

memorandum No. 32839/F., Dated the 25th September, 2019 and the decision of the

Cabinet in their 4th meeting held on 26th September, 2019, the designation of all the

officers of Small Savings cadre under Group-A and Group-B posts have been

re-designated as follows :

In the existing Cadre Rules, guidelines and/or in any other Rules/Executive

Instructions/job-charts framed thereunder and in any other places categorically not

mentioned, for the words “Small Savings Officer (SSO)”, “Sub-Divisional Small Savings

Officer (SDSSO)”, “District Small Savings Officer (DSSO)”, “Assistant Director Small

Savings-cum-Under-Secretary to Government(ADSS-cum-US)”, “Deputy Director Small

Savings-cum-Deputy Secretary to Government(DDSS-cum-DS)”, wherever they occur, the

words “Small Savings & Financial Inclusion Officer (SS & FIO)”, “Sub-Divisional Small

Savings & Financial Inclusion Officer (SDSS & FIO)”, “District Small Savings & Financial

Inclusion Officer (DSS & FIO)”,” Assistant Director Small Savings & Financial Inclusion-

cum-Under-Secretary to Government (ADSS & FI-cum-US)” and “Deputy Director Small

Savings & Financial Inclusion-cum-Deputy Secretary to Government(DDSS & FI-cum-DS)”

shall be substituted respectively.

In the existing cadre rules for the words “Odisha Small Savings Service” the words

“Odisha Small Savings and financial inclusion service shall be substituted.”

There has not been any change in the Group and existing pay structure of the

officers of the cadre.

This would be effective from the date of issue of the notification.
