NOTIFICATION

The 25th November, 2019

No.13834-U-06/2018/SG(HE).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section-1

of Section 22 of Orissa Universities Act, 1989 and in pursuance of Order No. 24113/HE.,

dated the 11th November, 2019 of Department of Higher Education, Hon’ble Chancellor of

Universities, Odisha has been pleased to order as follows:—

1. The post of Section Officer, Level-II and Section Officer, Level-I in the Scale of Pay

of level-9 and level-10 respectively of the Pay Matrix in the Odisha Universities (Non-

Teaching Employees) Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 2018 in the State Universities are

hereby merged and re-designated as Section Officer.

2. Scale of Pay of re-designated post of Section Officer shall be fixed in level-10 of the

appropriate cell of the Pay Matrix in the Odisha Universities (Non-Teaching Employees)

Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 2018.

3. This re-designation of post of Section Officer, Level-II and Section Officer, Level-I

shall take effect from the date of issue of this Notification.

4. The financial benefits shall be with prospective effect.

5. This Notification be published in Extraordinary issue of the Odisha Gazette.
