TALCHER-ANGUL-MERAMANDALI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
NOTIFICATION
The 8th January 2024
No. 13-TAMDAņWhereas, the State Government have pleased to decide that the
Industrial Estate under the jurisdiction of Industrial Development Corporation (IDCO) be
declared as Special Planning Areas and IDCO be designated as Special Planning
Authority in respect of such Planning Areas in accordance with the provisions of section-
3A of Odisha Development Authority Act, 1982.
And whereas the Government of Odisha in H&UD Department vide its letter No.
1549/HUD-HUD-TP-POLICY-0004-2010 dtd. 27.01.2021 has communicated all
Development Authorities including TAMDA to take expeditious steps for declaration of
IDCO’s Industrial Estates as Special Planning Areas and IDCO be designated as Special
Planning Authority for such SPAs, on receipt of relevant applications from IDCO.
And whereas, IDCO has communicated TAMDA for notification of following
Industrial Estates as Special Planning Areas in accordance with provisions of Section 3A
of the ODA Act, 1982 and the Authority in its 28th Authority Meeting held on 05.01.2024
has approved the proposals for declaration of Special Planning Authority.

Kangula Pvt +Dp =14.12

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
Section- 3A of the ODA Act, 1982 (Odisha Act, 14 of 1982) the Talcher-
Angul-Meramandali Development Authority (TAMDA) do hereby declare
that the aforesaid areas collectively shall be a Special Planning Area for the
purposes of the said Act, and shall be assigned the name “The IDCO Special
Planning Area”, with effect from the date of publication of the notification in
Odisha Gazette.
