NOTIFICATION

The 8th February 2024

No. 3620—PT3-HFW-MEI-AP-0006/2023-H.—On the recommendation of the Odisha Public

Service Commission pursuant to the Advertisement No. 16 of 2022-23, the following candidates

are hereby appointed temporarily as Assistant Professors in the discipline of Radiodiagnosis under

OMES Cadre of Health & Family Welfare Department in the Academic Level-12 of First Schedule

of this Department Notification No. 33012, dated the 16th December 2019 with other allowances as

admissible from time to time from the date of their actual joining in the post until further orders.

1. The appointment is purely temporary and terminable at any time without prior notice and

without assigning any reason thereof. Their service is transferable and comes under the

purview of the transfer policy for their posting in any Government Medical Colleges, as and

when required.

2. The appointees shall be on probation for a period of one year.

3. The detailed place of posting have been made by way of counselling conducted by the

Director, Medical Education and Training, Odisha, Bhubaneswar as per the guidelines

issued vide Resolution No.14327-Gen., dated the 4th July 2017 of General Administration

& Public Grievance Department.

4. They are posted to the Medical Colleges as mentioned against each in the vacant posts of

Assistant Professor in the discipline of Psychiatry.

5. The appointees are hereby directed to furnish their details of past engagements [name of

the post, nature (Temporary/Permanent), type (Deputation/Deployment), and Name and

Address of the Institute)] within 07(seven) days from the issue of this Notification through

e-mail i.e. [email protected] for taking necessary steps for their early

relieve from Medical College/Hospitals of the State of Odisha/acceptance of their

resignations from OMHS Cadre.

6. The appointees are hereby directed to join at their place of posting within 30 (thirty) days

positively from the date of issue of the notification, after obtaining the orders of acceptance

of their resignation/relieve order from the competent authority, if they are already appointed

permanently/substantively in any cadre of the State or Central Government.

7. In case the appointee is a direct candidate, he/she is directed to join at his/her place of

posting within 30(thirty) days from the date of issue of this Notification positively, failling

which the order of appointment shall stand automatically cancelled.

8. The Competent Authority of the Government Medical College and Hospital are hereby

requested to accept the joining report of the appointed doctors after due verification of

relieving orders/acceptance of their resignations, if any, by observing due procedure as

per Rules and Regulations in case of the appointees appointed permanently/substantively

in any other cadre of the State or Central Government.
