NOTIFICATION
The 21st February 2024
S. R. O. No. 113/2024—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Odisha Forest
Act, 1972 (Odisha Act 14 of 1972), the State Government do hereby declare that the following land situated in
village Dudukaguda under Thuamul Rampur Tahasil in the district of Kalahandi mutated and transferred in favour
of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department for raising compensatory afforestation thereon against
approved diversion of balance 162.42 ha including 24.150 ha of forest land to be maintained as Safety Zone
(as per Sabik settlement record as on the 25th October 1980 and after the 25th October 1980) excluding
104.79 ha of forest land already diverted pertaining to the total ML area of 382.709 ha of Sukurangi Chromite
Mines spread over villages like Kamarda, Ostapal, Saruabil, Sukurangi, Tailangi and Forest Block No. 27 of
Mahagiri DPF in Sukinda Tehsil of Jajpur District (under Cuttack Forest Division), Odisha in favour of M/s
Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd. communicated by Government of India, MoEF&CC (FC Division), New Delhi
vide Letter No. 8-22/2016-FC., dated the 31st July 2023 under Section 2 of the Forest (Conservation) Act,
1980, the limits of which are specified below and the area of which is 80.51 ha (198.94 Ac.) shall be Protected
Forest with effect from the date of issue of the Notification and shall be known as “Dudukaguda Protected
Forest” :—
