The 30th May 2024

No. 810-C.—Whereas, the State Government have been informed about a tragic fire incident

due to bursting of crackers occurred on the 29th May 2024 during the celebration of Chandan Yatra

at Narendra Pushkarini, Puri.

And whereas, the State Government are deeply concerned about the tragic incident, therefore,

it has been decided to go for an inquiry into the lapses leading to said incident by the Additional

Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & D.M. Department-cum-Special Relief Commissioner,

Odisha and to submit a detailed report to this Department at the earliest.
