NOTIFICATION

The 8th July 2022

No. 7120ņPLN-MS-2/21-CDAņWhereas, the State Government have been pleased

to decide that the Industrial Estates under the jurisdiction of Industrial Development

Corporation (IDCO) be declared respect of such Planning Areas and IDCO be designated

as Special Planning Authority in Odisha Development Authority, 2015.

And whereas, the H & UD Department, Government of Odisha vide letter No.

1549/HUD-HUD-TP-POLICY-0004-2010 dated. 27.01.2021 has communicated Cuttack

Development Authority (CDA) to take expeditious steps for declaration of IDCO’s Industrial

Estates as Special Planning Areas and IDCO be designated as Special Planning Authority

for such SPAs, on receipt of relevant applications form IDCO.

And whereas, IDCO has communicated CDA for notification of following Industrial

Estates as Special Planning Area in accordance with provisions of Section. 3(A) of the

ODA Act, 1982 and the Authority in its 130^th meeting held on 06.05.2022 has approved the

proposal for declaration of the Special Planning Area.

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of Section 3(A) of

the ODA Act, 1982 (Odisha Act 14 of 1982), the Cuttack Development Authority do

hereby declare that the aforesaid areas collectively shall be a Special Planning Area for

the purpose of the said Act. and shall be assigned the same “The IDCO Special Planning

Area”, with effect from the date of publication of the notification in Odisha Gazette.
