S.R.O. No. 601/2024—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Odisha
Forest Act, 1972 (Odisha Act 14 of 1972), the State Government do hereby declare that the following
land situated in Village Talabarada under Bansapal Tahasil of Keonjhar District mutated and
transferred in favour of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Dapartment for raising
Compensatory Afforestation thereon against the proposed diversion of 3.104 ha of forest land for
construction of 11 KV overhead Transmission line from Jaldihi Village to Jumka-Pathiriposhi Pahar
Iron Block of M/s Rungta Mines Ltd. in Sundargarh District, Odisha vide in-principle approval of
Government of India, MoEF&CC, Regional Office, Bhubaneswar communicated in Letter
No. 5-ORB589/2023-BHU, dated the 22nd December 2023 under Section 2 of the Van (Sanrakshan
Evam Samvardhan) Adhiniyam, 1980, the limits of which are specified below and the area of which
is 5.00 ha (12.3553 Ac) shall be Protected Forest with effect from the date of issue of the Notification
and shall be known as "Talabarada Protected Forest'' :—
