S.R.O. No. 631/2024—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Odisha
Forest Act, 1972 (Odisha Act 14 of 1972), the State Government do hereby declare that the following
land situated in Village Jamugadia under Angul Tahasil of Angul District mutated and transferred in
favour of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department for raising Compensatory Afforestation
thereon against the proposed diversion of 125.24 ha of forest land for Subhadra OCP Coal Mining
Project of M/s MCL under Angul Forest Division in Angul District, Odisha vide "in-principle'' approval
of Government of India, MoEF&CC (FC Division), New Delhi communicated in Letter
No. F. No. 8-06/2023-FC, dated the 5th December 2023 under Section 2 of the Forest (Conservation)
Act, 1980, the limits of which are specified below and the area of which is 34.6926 ha (85.727 Ac.)
shall be a Protected Forest with effect from the date of issue of the Notification and shall be known
as "Jamugadia Protected Forest'' :—
