S.R.O. No. 633/2024—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Odisha
Forest Act, 1972 (Odisha Act 14 of 1972), the State Government do hereby declare that the following
land situated in Village Nukhuripada under Angul Tahasil of Angul District mutated and transferred
in favour of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department for raising Compensatory
Afforestation thereon against the proposed diversion of 125.24 ha. of forest land for Subhadra
OCP Coal Mining Project of M/s MCL under Angul Forest Division in Angul District, Odisha vide "in-
principle'' approval of Government of India, MoEF&CC (FC Division), New Delhi communicated in
Letter No. F. No. 8-06/2023-FC, dated the 5th December 2023 under Section 2 of the Forest
(Conservation) Act, 1980, the limits of which are specified below and the area of which is 19.1260
ha. (47.261 Ac.) shall be a Protected Forest with effect from the date of issue of the Notification and
shall be known as "Nukhuripada Protected Forest'' :—
