No. 14479—HOME-DA1-CASE1-0216/2024—The Government have been pleased to

approve for relaxation of the Clause (1) of Appendix B of Odisha Police Service (Method of

Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Constables) Order, 2021 for substituting the provision to

assess punishment only during preceding five years instead of entire service period in the eligibility

conditions for redeployment by invoking the power of relaxation conferred under Rule 17 of the said

order.
