No. 19963—HOME-SE1-PMTN-0005/ 2024-SE.—In exercise of the powers conferred under

Rule 16 of the Odisha Secretariat Private Secretaries Service Rules, 1997, Government after

careful consideration, have been pleased to relax the provision of residency period of 08 (eight)

years under sub-rule (ii) of Rule 3 of Odisha Secretariat Private Secretaries Service (Amendment)

Rules, 2014 to 04 (four) years in the grade of Personal Assistant and Private Secretary taken

together to be eligible for promotion to the rank of Senior Private Secretary in the Odisha Secretariat

PS Cadre under Home Department for the DPC to be convened during the year 2025 to fill up the

vacancies in the post of Senior Private Secretary in the interest of public service.

Concurrence of O.P.S.C. has been taken in the matter vide their Letter No. 3112/ PSC,

dated the 9th May 2025.
