NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1)

and (3) of section 13 of the Bonded Labour System

(Abolition) Act, 1976 (19 of 1976) and in supersession

of the notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 9/Lab./AIL/G,

dated 22-2-1997 of the Labour Department,

Government of Puducherry save as respects things

done or omitted to be done before such supersession,

constitutes a Vigilance Committee at Sub-Divisional

Level (South) (which is a sub-division) for the

Puducherry region in the Union territory of Puducherry

to perform the functions as envisaged under section 14

of the said Act and the said Vigilance Committee shall

NOTIFICATION

Shri Alok Kumar Verma, I.P.S., (AGMU : 1979),

Director-General of Police, Puducherry, is granted one

day earned leave on 21-1-2011. On expiry of the leave

and in pursuance of the Order No. 14020/3/2010-UTS.I,

dated 13-1-2011 of the Ministry of Home Affairs,

New Delhi, he is relieved from this Administration on the

afternoon of 21st January 2011 to take up his new

assignment in the Government of NCT of Delhi.

2. Shri I.D. Shukla, I.P.S. (AGMU : 1995), Deputy

Inspector-General of Police, Puducherry shall look after

the work till the new incumbent joins duty, as per the

Order No. 14020/3/2010-UTS.I, dated 13-1-2011 of the

Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 1 of the Employees’ State Insurance

Act, 1948 (Central Act 34 of 1948), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry in consultation with the Employees’

State Insurance Corporation and with the approval of the Central Government, is hereby pleased to notify his

intention to extend the provisions of the said Act to the classes of establishments as specified in the Schedule

hereunder on or after one month from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette

of Puducherry, namely:—

AUCTION NOTICE

1. The sale of the condemned/unserviceable articles

as detailed in the Annexure lying in the premises of the

Government General Hospital, Mahe will be disposed off

by public auction on 14-2-2011 at 10.30 a.m. in the

Government General Hospital, Mahe

2. The auction will be conducted for all the items in a lot.

3. Those who are intending to participate the auction,

should deposit an amount of ` 3,100 (Rupees three

thousand one hundred only) in cash as earnest money

deposit with this office before participating in the auction.

4. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful

participants will be refunded immediately after the

auction is over.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to cancel the

auction without assigning any reason thereof.
