NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Award in I.D. No. 7/2009, dated 2-12-2010

of the Labour Court, Puducherry in respect of the

industrial dispute between the management of M/s. EID

Parry (India) Limited (New Horizon Sugar Mills) and

Thiru G. Bharath Bahadur and 12 others over non-

employment has been received;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Industrial

Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947) read

with the notification issued in Labour Department's

G.O. Ms. No.20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991, it is hereby

directed by Secretary to Government (Labour) that

the said Award shall be published in the official

gazette, Puducherry.

This petition coming on this day for hearing before

me in the presence of Thiru D. Soundararajan,

counsel for petitioner and M/s. T.S. Gopaland & Co.

and Thiru L. Swaminathan, counsel for respondent

and upon perusing the case records, this court made

the following:

ORDER

This industrial dispute arises out of the reference

made by the Government under section 10(1)(e) of the

Industrial Disputes Act in G. O. Rt. No. 68/Lab./2009/AIL/J,

dated 8-5-2009, the Government made the following

reference:

Today petition was called. Counsel for petitioners

and counsel for management present. Endorsement

m a d e b y t h e co u n s e l f o r p e t i t i o n e r s a s “The

petitioners received their settlement hence this

industrial dispute may be closed as against this

petitioners”. Hence the reference is closed.
