6. Now, therefore, the undersigned believes that there

is good and sufficient reasons to impose major penalty

on her and hence in exercise of the powers conferred

under clause (b) of sub-rule (3) of rule 12 of the Central

Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal)

Rules, l965, the undersigned hereby imposes the major

penalty of “removal from service, which shall not be a

disqualification for further employment under the

Government” on Selvi G. Baby Anandalakshmi,

Assistant, Revenue-I, Division-I, Electricity Department,

Puducherry, with effect from 1-2-2007 and decides that

the period of unauthorised absence from duty, shall be

treated as “Dies Non” which shall not be counted for

duty for any purpose.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram

(excluding sales tax) are invited for the sale of old

newspapers belonging to the Office of the Deputy

Director (ESI), Mudaliarpet, Puducherry, in as is where

is condition.

2. The rate should be quoted as follows:

Rate per kilogram

(1) Old English newspapers

(2) Old Tamil newspapers

3. The intending tenderers may inspect the old Tamil

and English newspapers at the Office of the Deputy

Director (ESI), I Floor, CGP Complex, Gorimedu, Puducherry

on 10-5-2011 between 9.30 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. with the

permission of the undersigned.

4. Tender in sealed cover superscribed as “Tender for

the purchase of old newspapers” should be reached to

the Junior Accounts Officer, Office of the Deputy

Director (ESI), Mudaliarpet, Puducherry on or before

10-5-2011 by 10.30 a.m. The tenders will be opened on

the same day in the presence of tenderers or their

authorised representatives at 11.00 a.m. Tenders received

after the due date and time will be rejected.

5. The tenderers should deposit an earnest money

deposit of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) in

cash to the Cashier at the time of submitting the sealed

tenders. The earnest money deposit amount will be

refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers after finalisation

of the tenders.

6. If the tender opening day happens to be a public

holiday, the same will be opened on the next working

day. Any incomplete tender received is liable for

rejection.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the total cost

of the old newspapers with sales tax immediately and

the items should be removed from the office premises at

once or within 24 hours at his own expenses.

8. No claim about the quantity and quality of the

value of the sold goods will be admitted once the tender

is finalised.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.
