TENDER NOTICE

Tenders are invited by Architectural Wing, Central

Office, Public Works Department, Puducherry for the

disposal of the condemned articles as detailed in the

Annexure.

2. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed as

"Tender for disposal of condemned articles" should be

addressed to the Architect, Architectural Wing, Central

Office, Public Works Department, Puducherry and

submitted to this office on or before 15th June 2011 by

10.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day

at 11.30 a.m in front of the tenderers present at that

time. If the day for opening the tender happens to be a

public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be

received and opened by the same time on the next

working day.

3. Submission of tenders will not be entertained after

due date and time.

4. The condemned articles can be inspected during

11.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m on any working day at this office

till 14th June 2011. The articles will be disposed as it is

and where it is.

5. No claim about the quantity/quality and value of

the items will be entertained.

6. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) in cash as

earnest money deposit with this office while submitting

the tenders. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tenders

are finalised.

7. Single rate shall be quoted for all articles (as in

Annexure) considering as one lot.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

9. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount

of tender at once and should immediately remove all the

articles (as in Annexure) from the premises of this office

before 5.00 p.m on the same day at his own cost and

efforts.

10. Sales tax at 12% of the quoted amount will be

paid by the successful tenderer.

11. The tenders are liable to be rejected, if the

amount quoted is very low and unreasonable.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be final and binding.

opened on the same day at 4.10 p.m.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in

cash before opening of the sealed tenders. The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded after the tenders are opened and successful

tenderer has been selected.

6. The intending tenderers may inspect the said

articles during office hours on any working day with

the permission of the undersigned.

7. The undersigned reserves full right either to accept

or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason. Contravention of the rules of tender notice will

result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.

old newspapers and magazines, pay the cost thereof,

along with applicable sales tax and remove the old

newspapers and magazines within 48 hours from the time

of the tender sale is over. On failure to this

arrangements, the earnest money deposit paid will be

forfeited. Also for the old newspapers and magazines

which have been disposed off after due receipt of

payment this department will not undertake any

responsibility for any loss or shortage or damage. On

completion of clearance the earnest money deposit will

be refunded.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease the

usufructs of 1 (one) jack tree, 2 (two) silk cotton

trees, 10 (ten) mango trees and 3 (three) tamarind

trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry-9 for the period up to 31-12-2011.

2. The tender should reach the Office of the Director

of Industries and Commerce, Industrial Estate,

Thattanchavady-9 on or before 18-5-2011 at 3.15 p.m.

The tender will be opened by the Director of Industries

and Commerce in his office at 3.30 p.m. on the same day.

3. The intending tenderer may inspect the usufructs

trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattachavady,

Puducherry at any time during the office hours.

4. The tender should be in whole of rupees only.

The tender from those who are in arrears to this

office as on 31-3-2011 will not be accepted.

5. (i) The earnest money deposit of ` 250 (Rupees

two hundred and fifty only) should be deposited along

with the tender. The earnest money deposit will be

refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers.

(ii) The successful bidder should remit the balance

bid amount immediately by deducting the earnest money

deposit amount.

(iii) A lease deed should be executed and

registered within a week from the date of tender sale.

Only after registration of the lease agreement the

successful bidder would be allowed to enjoy the

usufructs.

6. If the tender date i.e., 18-5-2011 happens to be

a holiday, the tender should be accepted on the next

working day up to the above said time and opened

on the same day at the time specified above.

7. This office reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all tenders without assigning any reason

therefor.

8. If any dispute arises in this regard, the decision

of the Director of Industries and Commerce,

Puducherry would be the final.
