2. The rate should be quoted for one lot.

3. The intending tenderers can inspect the audio-

visual equipments on 17-8-2011 and 18-8-2011

between 3.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. in the stores of the

Directorate.

4. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed as

“Tender for the purchase of audio-visual equipments

should be addressed to the Director, 50, Sithankudy,

Department of Women and Child Development,

Puducherry-605 013, so as to reach on or before 10.00 a.m.

on 19-8-2011. The tenders will be opened at 10.30 a.m.

on the same day in the presence of tenderers present.

The tenderer who quote the highest rate will be the

successful bidder and tender will be finalised in his

favour.

5. The intending tenderer should deposit an earnest

money of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only). The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be

refunded after finalising the tenders and that of the

successful bidder will be deducted towards the cost of

the items. The successful bidder has to collect the old

audio-visual equipments at the finalised rate from this

Directorate.

6. Further in the event of successful bidder failing

to pay the cost in full and lift the old audio-visual

equipments at the agreed rate, at their own expenses

within 2 days from this office, the earnest money deposit

will once and forever be forfeited in favour of the

Government and the concerned tenderer will lose the

right of removal of the items.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any

or all tenders without assigning any reason. Any

contravention of the rules of tender notice will result in

the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.

8. No claim about the quantity, quality and the value

of the sold goods will be admitted once the tender is

finalised. The removal of items shall be only during office

working hours.

9. VAT/sales tax will be collected as per existing rates.
