NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to make the following further

amendments to the Rules for the “Grant of Stipend to the Physically

Handicapped Trainees of Vocational Training Institutes of Puducherry

Rules, 2008” notified in G.O. Ms. No. 6/2008-Wel(SW-V), dated 21-11-2008

of the Welfare Secretariat, Puducherry and published in Part-II of the

Extraordinary Gazette No. 40, dated 25-11-2008 (hereinafter referred to

as the said rules) namely:—

AMENDMENT

1. In the said rules, in rule 1,—

For the existing short title, the following shall be substituted.

These rules shall be called the “Grant of Stipend to the

Differently Abled Trainees of Vocational Training Institutes of

Puducherry Rules, 2012”.

2. Ammendment of rule 8 (Rate of stipend) —

In the said rules, in the rule 8 for the word and figures

“` 800” the word and figures “` 1000” shall be substituted.

3. In the said rules for the words, “Physically Handicapped”

wherever they occur, the words “Differently Abled Persons” shall be

substituted.

4. This amendment shall come into force at once.

5. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,

vide their U.O.No.13133/FD/F5/A2, dated 14-2-2012.
