The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to amend

Guidelines of the scheme “Sheep/Goat Development Scheme for

Providing Assistance to Below Poverty Line Members by Granting 75%

Subsidy in the Union territory of Puducherry for purchase of Sheep/

Goats” notified vide G. O. Ms. No. 4/AH, dated 31-3-2007 of Chief

Secretariat (AH), Puducherry and published in the Extraordinary Gazette

Part-II, No. 18, dated 17th April 2007 as follows :

AMENDMENT

In the Serial No. H. Estimated pattern of assistance, the following

shall be substituted.

1. Unit cost of (5+1 Unit)

4. The Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare Department will

release the subsidy of 75% i.e., ` 12,000(Rupees twelve

thousand only) to the beneficiaries for the purchase of

5 female and 1 male sheep/goat unit and the balance of 25%

of cost i.e., ` 4,000 (Rupees four thousand only) shall be

borne/met out by the beneficiaries themselves.

5. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,

vide U.O. No. 13488/2011/F4, dated 6-3-2012.
