Dated the 4th July 2012/13, Asadha 1934 (Saka).
NOTIFICATION
No. 434/PUDU/2012 (1).— In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (1951 of 43),
the Election Commission hereby directs that the following amendments shall be
made in its Notification No. 434/PUDU/2008 (1), dated 17-6-2008 as amended
from time to time, relating to the appointment of Assistant Returning Officer of the
Parliamentary Constituency in the Union territory of Puducherry, namely:-
In the said notification, existing entry “Labour Commissioner, ERO-III”
shall be substituted by the entry “Deputy Labour Commissioner, ERO-III”.

of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (1951 of 43), the Election
Commission hereby makes the following further amendment in its Notification
No. 434/PUDU/2008 (2), dated 17-6-2008 as amended from time to time, relating
to the appointment of Returning Officer in the Assembly Constituency of Puducherry,
namely:-
In the column (2) of the Table appended to the said notification, existing
entry “Labour Commissioner” against 7. Kadhirgamam, 8. Indira Nagar
and 9. Thattanchavady Assembly Constituencies as shown in column (1), shall be
substituted by the entry “Deputy Labour Commissioner”.

to time, relating to the appointment of Electoral Registration Officer in the Assembly
Constituency of Puducherry, namely:-
In the column (2) of the Table appended to the said notification, existing
entry “Labour Commissioner” against 7. Kadhirgamam, 8. Indira Nagar
and 9. Thattanchavady Assembly Constituencies as shown in column (1), shall
be substituted by the entry “Deputy Labour Commissioner”.
