ORDER

In supersession of the G.O. Ms. No. 38, dated

22-3-2010 of the Chief Secretariat (Art and Culture),

Puducherry, the Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to

reconstitute the Expert Committee Member for

selection of indigent artistes in the Union territory

of Puducherry consisting of the following

2. The validity of the Expert Committee shall be for

constituting the committee. The recommendations of

Expert Committee shall be placed before the selection

committee in terms of G. O. Ms. No. 32, dated 24-4-2000 of

Education Secretariat, Puducherry.

3. The tenure of members so appointed shall be three

years from the date of issue of the Government order.

4. The Expert Committee shall function in terms

of the G. O. Ms. No. 32, dated 24-4-2000 notifying

the scheme for grant of financial assistance to indigent

performing visual arts.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an

industrial dispute has arisen between the management

o f M/s. L e o F a s t e ne r s , P u d u c h e r r y a n d o n e

Sri D. Pazhanisamy, over non-employment in

respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to

this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,

it is necessary to refer the said dispute for

adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G. O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab., dated 23-5-1991 of the Labour

Department, Puducherry to exercise the powers

conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of

section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central

Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary to

Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred

to the Labour Court, Puducherry for adjudication. The

Labour Court, Puducherry shall pass the award

within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as

stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the

Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with

rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957.

The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of

claim complete with relevant documents, list of

reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court,

Puducherry within 15 days of the receipt of the order

of reference and also forward a copy of such

statement to each one of the opposite parties

involved in the dispute.

Whereas, an order was made, vide reference cited,

under sub-section (1) of section 126 of the Puducherry

Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, directing the

winding up of the affairs of the Madagadipet Students

Co-operative Stores Limited, No. P. 349;

And whereas, the financing bank viz, the

Pondicherry State Co-operative Bank Limited was

consulted in the matter of appointment of a

liquidator, as required under sub-section (1) of

section 127 of the said Act;

And whereas, the Pondicherry State Co-operative

Bank has stated that it has no objection for the

appointment of a liquidator for the said stores.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

on me under sub-section (1) of section 127 of the

Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, I hereby

appoint Thiru N. Pughazendhi, Co-operative Officer,

as the liquidator for the purpose of winding up of the

said stores.

Thiru N. Pughazendhi, liquidator shall take into his

custody all the properties, effects and actionable

claims to which the said stores is or appears to be

entitled and complete the liquidation proceedings

as per law.

3 months from the date of issue of reference as

stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of

the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance

with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central)

Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a

statement of claim complete with relevant documents,

list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court,

Puducherry within 15 days of the receipt of the order

of reference and also forward a copy of such statement

to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.
