NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section (3) read with sub-section (5)

of section 71 of the Puducherry Value Added Tax Act, 2007 (Act No. 9 of 2007),

the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to appoint the Deputy

Commissioner ( Commercial Taxes), Commercial Taxes Department, Puducherry as

the Commissioner for the purposes of performing the functions conferred on the

Commissioner by or under the said Act within the Union territory of Puducherry.

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect

from the 6th day of February, 2012.
