NOTIFICATION

Whereas, an Award in I.D. No. 86/2012, dated 23-11-2012

of the Labour Court, Puducherry in respect of the

industrial dispute between the Managing Director,

M/s. Superfil Products Limited, Puducherry and one

Thiru P. Alagappan, over non-employment has been

received;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by

sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Industrial Disputes

Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947) read with the

n o t i f i c a t i o n i s s u e d i n L a b o u r D e p a r t m e n t ' s

G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991, it is hereby

directed by Secretary to Government (Labour) that the

said award shall be published in the official gazette,

Puducherry.

ORDER

This industrial dispute arises out of the reference

made by the Government under section 10 (1) (c) of the

Industrial Disputes Act in G.O. Rt. No. 176/AIL/Lab./

J/2012, dated 9-10-2012. The Government made the

following references:

(a) Whether the dispute raised by the petitioner

Thiru P. Alagappan against the management of

M/s. Superfil Products Limited, Puducherry, over his

non-employment is justified?

(b) If justified, to what relief, the petitioner is

entitled to?

of money, if it can be so computed.

2. Today this petition was called. Petitioner called

absent. Respondent counsel present. Memo. filed by the

respondent as settled under section 18(1) of the

Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and recorded. Hence this

I am the petitioner herein and I state that I have filed above

numbered petition for non-employment and other benefits.

I herewith submit that I had approached the

respondent for settlement and herewith state that we

have arrived at a compromise and I agree to receive a

sum of rupees ninety-five thousand only (` 95,000).

I state that I have received a demand draft for an

amount of ` 95,000 (Rupees ninety-five thousand only)

vide Demand Draft No. 6657522, dated 22-11-2012 drawn

at Indian Overseas Bank, Manjakuppam Branch,

Cuddalore in my favour.

I herewith pray that this Honourable Court may

record my full satisfaction and I undertake that I will not

raise any claims in this regard in the future.

Hence I pray that this Honourable Court may be

pleased to pass necessary order in the interest of justice

as the matter has been settled.
