On the recommendations of the High Court of

Judicature at Madras and in exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 7A

and by sub-section (2) of section 7 of the Industrial

Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947) read with

rule 5 of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957

and in supersession of the notifications issued in G.O.

Ms. No. 9/AIL/Lab./J/2012, dated 10th August 2012 of

the Labour Department, Government of Puducherry and

published in the Official Gazette No. 35, dated

28th August 2012 and G.O. Ms. No. 6/AIL/Lab./

J/2012, dated 23rd January 2013 of the Labour

Department, Government of Puducherry and all other

notifications issued in this behalf, save as respects

things done or omitted to be done before such

supersession, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry has

been pleased to appoint Thiru T. Mohandass, Presiding

Officer of the Labour Court, Puducherry as the Presiding

Officer of the Industrial Tribunal-cum- Labour Court

for the whole of the Union territory of Puducherry for

the purposes of the said Act, with immediate effect.

2. This notification shall come into force with effect

from the date of publication in the official gazette,

Puducherry.

the Labour Department, Government of Puducherry and

all other notifications issued in this behalf, save as

respect things done or omitted to be done before such

supersession, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry has

been pleased to reconstitute and redesignate the Labour

Court, Puducherry as the Industrial Tribunal-cum-

Labour Court with its headquarters at Pondicherry for

adjudication of industrial disputes relating to any matter

specified in the Second and Third Schedule to the said

Act and for performing such other functions assigned

to it under the Act in relation to the whole of the

Union territory of Puducherry.

2. The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is also

pleased to order that the Presiding Officer of the

Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Union territory

of Puducherry may hold and conduct camp court

sittings of Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court at

Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam periodically depending upon

the necessity existing.

3. This notification shall come into force with effect

from the date of publication in the official gazette,

Puducherry.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable

articles pertaining to Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Botanical

Garden, Puducherry, mentioned in the Annexure will be

disposed off by tender-cum-public auction on 10-7-2013

at 11.00 a.m.

Terms and conditions

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Deputy Director (E.E.), Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Botanical

Garden, Puducherry-1, duly superscribing on the

envelope as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable

stores” and should reach this office on or before 10-7-2013

at 10.30 a.m. The tenders will be opened on the same

day at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of attending tenderers.

2. The highest rate quoted will be treated as minimum

bid amount and then the public auction will be started.

3. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only)

along with sealed tenders. The earnest money deposit

of unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the same

day soon after completion of auction.
