TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders quoting the rate per kilogram/per

piece/per branch/per lot (excluding sales tax) are invited

for the sale of fallen trees due to Thane cyclone

belonging to the schools mentioned below under the

control of the Deputy Inspector of Schools, Zone-II,

Puducherry.

(3) Government Primary School,

Muthiraiyarpalayam.

(4) Government Primary School, Sokkanathanpet

(5) Government Primary School, Indira Nagar

2. Sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Deputy Inspector of Schools, Zone-II, Directorate of

School Education, Puducherry duly superscribing on the

envelope as “Tender for the fallen trees” and they

should reach this office on or before 30-7-2013 at 4.00 p.m.

The tenders will be opened at 4.15 p.m. on the same

day in the presence of the tenderers, if any.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money

deposit to this office before submitting tender. The

tenders without earnest money deposit will be

summarily rejected.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after tender sale

is over/finalised, whereas, the earnest money deposit of

the successful tenderer will be returned after the work

is completed in all respects.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will

not be entertained.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount including sales tax as applicable under the rules

in force and clear the materials within a week time from

the school at his own cost/risk failing which the earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim about the quantity and quality of the

fallen trees mentioned in the Annexure will be admitted

once the tender is finalised.

8. Sales tax will be charged at 10%.

9. The intending tenderers can inspect the trees

during school times with the prior permission of the

concerned Headmaster.

10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender in part or whole without assigning any

reason thereof.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

12. The particulars of the fallen trees and the school

in which the trees are placed are given in the Annexure.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the purchase of

unserviceable/obsolete articles pertaining to the

Office of the Chief Inspector of Factories and Boilers,

Labour Department, Puducherry-9, mentioned in the

Annexure will be disposed off by tender-cum-public

auction on 25-7-2013 at 3.00 p.m.

The particulars of the unserviceable/obsolete

articles, terms and conditions, along with the tender

form may be received from the Cashier, Office of the

Chief Inspector of Factories and Boilers, Labour

Department, Puducherry-9, after paying the amount of

` 105 (Rupees one hundred and five only) including

sales tax by cash.

Terms and conditions

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Inspector of Factories, Office of the Chief Inspector

of Factories and Boilers, Labour Department,

Puducherry-605 009, duly superscribing on the envelope

as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable/obsolete

articles” and should reach this office on or before 25-7-2013

at 1.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day

at 3.00 p.m. in the presence of attending tenderers.

2. The highest rate quoted will be treated as minimum

bid amount and then the public auction will be started.

3. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 4,000 (Rupees four thousand only)

along with sealed tenders in the form of cash to the

cashier. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded on the same day soon after

completion of auction.

4. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount soon after completion of auction and should

clear the auctioned articles at his own arrangements/

cost before 5.00 p.m. on the next day (26-7-2013) failing

which this office will not be held responsible either for

the safe custody or for loss or damage of articles once

the auction is over.

5. Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate

applicable at the time of auction.

6. No claim on the quantity/quality and numbers of

the article will be admitted once the auction is over.

unserviceable articles during the office hours

on 24-7-2013 with the permission of the Inspector of

Factories, Office of the Chief Inspector of Factories and

reject any bid without assigning any reason therefor.

10. Auction sale is subject to the discretion of the

undersigned whose decision will be final in case of any
