NOTIFICATION

Whereas it appears to the Government of Puducherry that the lands specified in the Schedule below are

needed for a public purpose, viz., for construction of bus stand at Palloor, notice to that effect is hereby given to

all whom it may concern in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Land Acquisition

Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) and the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry hereby authorises the Deputy

Collector (Revenue)-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Mahe, his staff and other workmen to exercise the powers

conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the said Act.

Under sub-section (4) of section 17 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry,

directs that in view of the urgency of the case, the provisions of section 5-A of the Act shall not apply to this case.
