Sealed tenders are invited for the purchase of

unserviceable/obsolete articles and some other items

which are stored at the Office of the Executive Engineer,

Buildings and Roads (North) Division, Public Works

Department, Puducherry.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items in

the stores section on 18-9-2013 and 19-9-2013 from

9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. during working hours with our

permission.

3. Tender should be addressed to the Executive

Engineer, Buildings and Roads (North) Division, Public

Works Department, Puducherry duly superscribing on

the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of

unserviceable articles” should be reached to the

undersigned on or before 19-9-2013 at 3.00 p.m.

The tender received will be opened on the same day i.e.,

19-9-2013 at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers

or their representatives who are present. If the

scheduled date of auction happens to be a holiday, the

date of receipt and opening of tenders will automatically

to be postponed to the next working day at the same

time.

4. The abovesaid items are kept in the store in-as-

is-where-is basis for public auction.

5. The earnest money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five

hundred only) drawn in favour of the Executive

Engineer, Buildings and Roads (North) Division, Public

Works Department, Puducherry should be submitted

along with the tenders. The earnest money deposit will

be returned to the unsucessful tenderers after

completing the tender process.

6. The tender will be knocked down in favour of the

highest bidder. If all the tenders knocked below the

amount fixed by the Government, the oral auction will

commence on the same day.

7. The successful bidder should pay the entire

amount immediately plus sales tax soon after the

confirmation of the tender sale and take delivery of

the available materials at his own risk. Subsequently the

unserviceable articles should be cleared by the

successful bidder within two days after completing the

tender process.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason.

“e-Tenders” are invited on behalf of the President of India by the Chairman, Committee for Centralised

Purchase of Automatic Reel to Sheet Ruling (Web Ruling) / Flexo Printing Machine and Wire Stitching Machine for

use in the Directorate of Stationery and Printing, Puducherry.

1. The tenderers for supply of Automatic Reel to Sheet Ruling (Web Ruling)/Flexo Printing Machine and Wire

Stitching Machine shall hold valid sales tax registration certificate with the Government.

2. The tenderers must have a minimum of three years experience in the field and their average annual

turnover for the last 3 years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 must be not less than ` 35 lakhs.

3. The tenderer who quotes for the supply of Automatic Reel to Sheet Ruling (Web Ruling)/Flexo Printing

Machine and Wire Stitching Machine must be either the manufacturer or their authorised stockist. Detailed

information of the “Manufacturer” must be enclosed along with the tender.
