TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are
invited for the sale of following items belonging to this
Office, Project Offices and Working Women Hostel,
Puducherry.

2. Tenders in sealed covers superscribed on the
envelope as “Tender for the purchase of old Tamil and
English newspapers” should be addressed to the
Director, Department of Women and Child Development,
Puducherry. The tenders should reach the undersigned
on or before 11.00 a.m. on 27-9-2013 and will be opened
at 11.30 a.m. on the same day.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest
money deposit, which will be refunded to the
unsuccessful tenderers after the tender is over.
4. The successful tenderer should pay the total cost
of the items immediately and remove the old newspapers
at his own expenses within 24 hours, failing which the
earnest money deposit will be forfeited. This department
will not be responsible for the safe custody of the items
once the tender is finalised. Sales tax at the prevailing
rate will be collected extra.
5. The proposed old newspapers can be inspected
on 26-9-2013 during office hours in the office premises
concerned.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
