TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the purchase of waste

cut pieces of paper and board items stored in

Government Branch Press, Karaikal for the period of one

year from the date of commencement of tender sale.

2. The tenders should be addressed to the Deputy

Director of Printing, Government Branch Press, Karaikal

duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of waste cut pieces of paper and board items”

and shall be reached the undersigned on or before

28-11-2013 at 3.30 p.m. The tenders will be opened at

4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the

tenderers. If this date happens to be a holiday, the date

of receipt and opening of tenders will automatically be

postponed to the next working day at the same time.

3. The intending tenderers may inspect the items in

the stores section of this Press at any time during the

working hours.

4. The earnest money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five

hundred only) should be deposited along with the

tenders. The earnest money deposit will be returned to

the unsuccessful tenderers after completing the tender

process.

5. Rate should be quoted only per kilogram basis

exclusive of sales tax which will be collected extra as

per rate applicable.

6. The tender will be knocked down in favour of the

highest bidder.

7. The successful bidder should pay the entire

amount immediately soon after the confirmation of the

tender sale and take delivery of the available materials

at his own risk. Subsequently the accumulated materials

in stores should be cleared at the last week of every

month. The tenders received after the due date and time

will not be accepted.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Deputy

Director of Government Branch Press, Karaikal will be

the final.
