NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the

Provincial Insolvency Act, 1920 (Central Act 5 of 1920) and in supersession of

the Notification issued in G.O.Ms. No. 27/2010-LD, dated 9th July 2010 and

published in the Gazette of Puducherry, No. 30, dated 27th July 2010, save

as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession,

the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry has been pleased to invest the Courts of

Subordinate Judges and District Munsifs in the Union territory of Puducherry in

respect of all cases or petitions presented by the creditors and debtors for the

value of debts specified in column (3) of the Table against the respective Courts

in column (2) of the said Table, namely:-

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the

Puducherry Civil Courts Act, 1966 (Act No. 12 of 1966) and in supersession of the

Notification-I issued in G.O. Ms. No. 45/20l0-LD, dated 26th October, 2010 and

published in the Gazette of Puducherry, No. 46, dated 16th November 2010 and all

other notifications issued in this behalf, save as respects things done or omitted

to be done before such supersession, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry has

been pleased to fix the number of the following Civil Courts in the entire

Union territory of Puducherry as indicated in column (3) of the Table below for the

purposes of the said Act, namely:-

published in the Gazette of Puducherry, No. 46, dated 16th November 2010 and all
