2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Chief General Manager, PIPDIC Limited, No. 60, Romain
Rolland Street, Puducherry duly superscribed on the
envelope as “Tender for purchase of old/unserviceable
computer accessories” and to reach the undersigned on
or before 20-12-2013 at 12.30 p.m. The tenders will be
opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day by the undersigned
in the presence of the attending tenderers.
3. The highest rate quoted will be treated as
minimum bid amount and then the public auction will
be started among those who have given the full-fledged
tenders.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) by cash towards
earnest money deposit.
5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded only after the finalisation of
the tenders.
6. The sealed tenders received after the due date and
time and without earnest money deposit will be rejected.
7. The VAT will be collected extra as per the rates
applicable at the time of tender opening.
8. The intending tenderers may inspect the items
during the office hours on any working day of this
Corporation on or before 19-12-2013.
9. No tenderers shall be allowed to inspect the items
on 20-12-2013 under any circumstances i.e., on
auction day.
10. No claim on the quality/quantity of the articles
will be admitted once the tender auction is over.
11. The successful tenderer/bidder should make his
own arrangements to take delivery of the auctioned
materials only after getting delivery order by the
undersigned and should pay the full amount immediately
and clear the items within 24 hours, failing, which the
earnest money deposit paid by him will be forfeited in full.
12. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/
reject any tender/bid without assigning any reason therefor.
13. In case of any dispute the decision of the
undersigned is final.
