3. As far as the premium amount to be collected from all farmers the premium subsidy is up to 50%

for this season as per G.O. Ms. No. 8/Coop., dated 18-10-2007, of the Chief Secretariat (Coop), Puducherry.

Further, as provided in the scheme indemnity claims will be settled only on the basis of yield data furnished

by the Government of Puducherry based on requisite number of Crop Cutting Experiments (CCEs) conducted

under General Crop Estimation Survey (GCES).

Sealed tenders are invited for sale of the following

items belonging to the Department of Animal Husbandry

and Animal Welfare, Puducherry in as-is-where-is condition.

2. The rate shall be quoted on a plain white paper,

separately for each item and addressed to the Director (C/D),

Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare,

Puducherry, duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender

for the purchase of old newspapers and fallen trees” and

should reach this office on or before 16-12-2013

at 10.30 a.m. The tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon on

the same day in the presence of the tenderers who are

present at that time. The highest rate quoted among all

the sealed tenders will be accepted subject to the final

decision of the undersigned. The tender notice is also

available in the official website : http://ahd.puducherry.gov.in

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) by cash as earnest

money deposit while submitting their sealed tenders. The

earnest money deposit would be returned to the

unsuccessful tenderers after finalising the rates.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender in part or whole without assigning any

reasons thereof. The old newspapers and fallen trees may

be inspected during office hours.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount

including sales tax immediately and clear the items within

24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest

money deposit amount will be forfeited.

7. The successful tenderer cannot claim for the quantity

and quality of the old newspapers and fallen trees after

the auction is over.

8. If the successful tenderer do not pay the full amount

including sales tax within the specified time, auction will

be passed on to the second highest tenderer forfeiting

the earnest money deposit amount.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

10. The old newspapers will be weighed in the

department's weighing machine and delivered to the

successful tenderer.

3. The tender in sealed covers should be

superscribed with the words “Tender for purchase of

old newspapers and periodicals” should be sent to the

Principal, Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College,

Kalapet, Puducherry on or before 20-12-2013 at 11.00 a.m.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.00 p.m.

in the presence of the tenderers who are present.

4. The intending bidders may inspect the said

articles during office hours on all working days in the

Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Kalapet,

Puducherry between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.

5. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest

money of ` 200 each before the commencement of the

tender. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

bidders will be refunded on 20-12-2013 after the tender

sale is over.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the total cost

immediately and remove the articles within 24 hours at

his/her own cost from the office premises. No claim

about the quantity, quality and the value of the

auctioned goods will be admitted.

7. Sales tax will be collected as per rules.
