NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Commissions
for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 (Central Act 4 of 2006) read with
Notification S.O.(E), dated 7th August, 2013 of the Government of India,
Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi and with the concurrence of the Hon’ble
Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor,
Puducherry has been pleased to specify the Courts mentioned in column (3) of
the Table below as Children’s Courts to exercise jurisdiction over the regions
specified in column (5) of the said Table for the purposes of providing speedy
trial of offences against children or of violation of child rights.
