NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 28 of the Protection of Children from
Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Act No. 32 of 2012) read with Letter No. U-11030/7/2013-UTL, dated 4-4-2014 of the
Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi and with the concurrence of the High Court of Judicature
at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry hereby designated the Court of Sessions specified in column (3)
of the Table below to be Special Courts to exercise jurisdiction over the regions specified in column (5) for the
purposes of providing speedy trial of offences.
