vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/90/Lab./1, dated 23-5-1991 of the

Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the powers

conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of

the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947),

it is hereby directed by Secretary to Government (Labour)

that the said dispute be referred to the Industrial

Tribunal, Puducherry for adjudication. The Industrial

Tribunal, Puducherry shall pass the award within 3 months

from the date of issue of reference as stipulated under

sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial

Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule 10-B

of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957.

The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of

claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliance

and witnesses to the Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry

within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference

and also forward a copy of such statement to each one

of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Hon’ble Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and Union Territories (JERC) in

its tariff order, dated 10-4-2013, issued for the year 2013-14 had made a provision for the adjustment due to

variation in power purchase cost on quarterly basis in the form of Fuel and Power Purchase Cost Adjustment

(FPPCA) from all consumers except the agriculture and One Hut One Bulb (OHOB). The Hon’ble

Commission had also notified the K-Factor and the power purchase cost as 355 PPU for the purpose of calculating

the FPPCA. Accordingly, the department has worked out the FPPCA charges recoverable for the first quarter

(April 2013 to June 2013) and second quarter (July 2013 to September 2013) of 2013-14 from the applicable

categories of consumers as furnished below :

The Government decided to exempt the domestic consumers from claiming of FPPCA by way of providing

subsidy to an extent of ` 4.97 crores as per the provision of Electricity Act, 2003. The FPPCA charges as

indicated above for the first and second quarters will be recovered from the consumers other than domestic

consumers along with the current consumption charges in energy bills issued during the period from March 2014

to May 2014 and June 2014 to August 2014 respectively. The delay in claiming of FPPCA is due to administrative
