NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the

Notification No. F5/65-GP, dated 11th January 1965 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi

and in partial modification of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Personnel Wing's) notification

issued in G.O. Ms. No.73/DP&AR(PW)/GC, dated 14th December 2010 and published in the Supplement to the Gazette

No. 50, dated 14th December 2010, the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules to

amend the Government of Puducherry, Multi-Tasking Staff (Security/House-keeping/General) Recruitment Rules, 2010,

namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry

Multi-Tasking Staff (Security/House-keeping/General) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official gazette.

2. Amendment of the Schedule.— In this said rules–

(i) in the Schedule of Recruitment Rules for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (Security) below the entries

against column (11), the following shall be incorporated, namely:-

Note : Provided that all those male Full Time Casual Labourers in the approved list of DP&AR, who

have completed 10 or more years of service as Part Time and Full Time Casual Labourer as on the date

of coming into force of the scheme i.e., on 27-2-2009 shall be considered for absorption as a one time

measure in the first instance.

(ii) in the Schedule of Recruitment Rules for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (House-keeping) below the

entries against column (11), the following shall be incorporated, namely:-

Note : Provided that all those female Full Time Casual Labourers in the approved list of DP&AR who

have completed 10 or more years of service as Part Time and Full Time Casual Labourer as on the date

of coming into force of the scheme i.e., on 27-2-2009 shall be considered for absorption as a one time

measure in the first instance.
