TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate are invited for sale of

old/unserviceable furnitures, office equipments as

detailed in the Annexure belonging to the Chief

Secretariat, Puducherry in as-is-where-is condition.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Under Secretary to Government (Estt.), Chief Secretariat,

Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as

“Tender for purchase of old/unserviceable furnitures/

office equipments” and sent to the undersigned to reach

on or before 11.00 a.m. on 31-7-2014. The tenders will be

opened at 12.00 noon on the same day in the presence

of the tenderers if any, in the Office of the Under

Secretary to Government (Estt), Chief Secretariat,

Puducherry. If the day for opening the tenders happens

to be a public holiday for any reason, the tenders will

be received and opened by the same time on the next

working day.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` l,500 (Rupees one thousand and five

hundred only) as earnest money deposit.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender

is over.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be summarily rejected.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject all/any tender without assigning any reason

thereof.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount including sales tax/VAT immediately and clear

the items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

9. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during the office hours in the Chief Secretariat

at “C” Block, Puducherry in all working days from

16-7-2014 onwards.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

11. Sales tax/VAT will be collected as per prevailing

rules.














