TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Public are hereby informed that the sealed tenders

offering the rate for a lot are invited for the sale of

unserviceable items mentioned in the Annexure in

as-is-where-is condition pertaining to the Calve College

Government Higher Secondary School, Puducherry will

be disposed off by tender-cum-public auction

on 6-8-2014 at 11.00 a.m.

Terms and conditions

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Principal, Calve College Government Higher Secondary

School, Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope

as “Tender for the purchase of unserviceable items”

and should reach this office on or before 6-8-2014

at 10.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day

at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of the attending tenderers.

2. The highest rate quoted will be treated as minimum

bid amount and then the public auction will be started.

3. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only)

along with the sealed tender. The earnest money deposit

of unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the same

day soon after completion of auction.

4. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount soon after completion of auction and should

clear the auctioned materials at his own arrangements/

cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same day failing which the

office will not be held either for the safe custody or for

loss or damage of articles once the auction is over.

5. Sales tax will be charged extra as per the applicable

rate at the time of auction.

6. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the auction is over.

7. The intending tenderers can inspect the unserviceable

items during the office hours on 5-8-2014 with the

permission of the Principal, Calve College Government

Higher Secondary School, Puducherry.

8. The successful tenderer should make his own

arrangements to weigh the ordinary firewood subject

to the satisfaction of the undersigned in regard to

weighment.

9. The tender offered after the due date and time will

be rejected.

10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any bid without assigning any reason therefor.

11. Auction sale is subject to the discretion of the

undersigned whose decision will be final in case of any

dispute.
