TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram

(including sales tax) are invited for the purchase of

condemned old furniture store articles mentioned in

the Annexure belonging to this college from 18-8-2014

to 3-9-2014. The rate should be quoted for each item

as follows:

The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science

College, Karaikal duly superscribed on the envelope

as “Tender for purchase of condemned old iron/plastic

items” so as to reach this office on or before 3-9-2014

at 12.00 noon.The tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon

on the same day in the presence of the tenderers at

the Office of the Principal, Arignar Anna Government

Arts and Science College, Karaikal.

Earnest money deposit of ` 1,000 (Rupees one

thousand only) should be deposited by the intending

tenderers. The earnest money deposit will be refunded

to the unsuccessful tenderers as soon as the tender

is completed. Tenders received after the due date and

time will be rejected.

The successful tenderer should arrange for a

platform weighing-machine on his own cost for

weighing the iron materials.

The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately and clear the items within

24 hours at his own cost, if fail, the earnest money

deposit will be forfeited. No claim on the quantity and

quality of the materials will be admitted once the

tender is finalised.

Sales tax at the rate applicable will be charged

extra. The intending tenderers can inspect the

articles on all working days during the working

hours. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science

College, Karaikal will be final.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the purchase of old/

damaged /unserviceable furniture items pertaining to

the Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and

Science College, Karaikal mentioned in the Annexure

will be disposed off by tender-cum-public auction on

10-9-2014 at 3.00 p.m.

The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science

College, Karaikal duly superscribed on the envelope

as “Tender for purchase of old furniture” and should

reach this office on or before 10-9-2014 at 1.00 p.m. The

tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.00 p.m. in

the presence of attending tenderers.

The highest rate quoted will be treated as minimum

bid amount and then the public auction will be started.

The intending bidders should deposit an earnest

money of ` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) along

with sealed tender in the form of cash to the office. The

earnest money deposit of unsuccessful tenderers will

be refunded on the same day soon after completion of

the auction.

The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount soon after completion of auction and should

clear the auctioned articles at his own arrangements

before 5.00 p.m. on the next day (11-9-2014) failing

which this office will be not be held responsible either

for the safe custody or for loss or damage of the articles

once the auction is over.

Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate

applicable at the time of auction.

No claim on the quantity/quality and number of the

articles will be admitted once the auction is over.

The intending tenderers can inspect the old/damaged

articles during the office working hours on all working

days with permission.

The tender offered after the due date and time will

be rejected.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject

any bid without assigning any reason thereof.

Auction sale is subject to the discretion of the

undersigned whose decision will be final in case of any

dispute.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are

invited for the disposal of old newspapers (Tamil,

English, Malayalam and Telugu) in the Office of the

Director-General of Police, Puducherry up to 31-12-2014.

2. The rate should be quoted for each item as

follows:

3. The

tenders in sealed cover should be

superscribed as “Tender for the purchase of old

newspapers up to 31-12-2014” addressed and sent to

“The Commandant, IRBn, Puducherry, Police

Complex, Gorimedu, Puducherry-605 006” so as to

reach this office on or before 20-8-2014 at 12.00 noon

or should be dropped into the quotation box placed

at Office of the Commandant of this unit before the due

date mentioned above. The tenders will be opened

on 20-8-2014 at 17.00 hours in the presence of available

tenderers.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)

through crossed demand draft before the submission of

tenders in the stores of IRBn located at Gorimedu and

obtain temporary receipt for it. The earnest money

deposited by the unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded after the tenders are opened and decided and

those of the successful tenderers will be converted into

security deposits to be kept in Government account as

per procedure.

5. In the event of successful tenderer failing to pay

the cost in full and lift the newspapers at the agreed

rate at his own expenses before the close of the fourth

day counted from the date of receipt of communication

from this office. The security deposit will be once and

forever appropriated in favour of the Government and

the concerned individual will lose the right of removal

of the items for rest of the year also. If the said fourth

day happens to be a Government holiday, the deadline

will be extended till the next working day on receipt of

a specific request in writing from the tenderer. No claim

about the quantity, quality and value of the sold goods

will be admitted.

6. It may be noted that the undersigned reserves the

right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning

any reason. Contravention of the rules of tender notice

will result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit/

security deposit.

7. The removal of items from the office shall be only

during working hours.

8. Sales tax will be collected as per rules.

9. The successful tenderer should make his own

arrangements to weigh the old newspapers subject to

satisfaction of the undersigned in regard to weighment.

10. Action will be taken for refund of security

deposit collected in respect of “non-defaulting tenderer”

after the close of the current year 2014.

11. In case of any dispute the decision of the

Commandant, IRBn, Puducherry will be final and legally

binding.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for sale of 6 Nos. of dead

fallen trees in one lot belonging to the Department of

Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare, Puducherry in

as-is-where-is condition.

2. The rate shall be quoted on a plain white paper

and addressed to the Director (C/D), Department of

Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare, Puducherry

duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of fallen trees” and should reach this office

on or before 21-8-2014 at 10.30 a.m. The tenders will be

opened at 12.00 noon on the same day in the presence

of the tenderers who are present at that time. The

highest rate quoted among all sealed tenders will be

accepted subject to the final decision of the

undersigned. The tender notice is also available in the

official website : http://ahd.puducherry.gov.in.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) by cash as earnest

money deposit while submitting their sealed tenders.

The earnest money deposit will be returned to the

unsuccessful tenderers after finalising the rates.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender in part or whole without assigning any

reason thereof. The fallen trees may be inspected

during office hours.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount including sales tax immediately and clear the

items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing

which the earnest money deposit amount will be

forfeited.

7. The successful tenderer cannot claim for the

quantity and quality of the fallen trees after the auction

is over.

8. If the successful tenderer do not pay the full

amount including sales tax within the specified time,

tender will be passed on to the second highest tenderer

forfeiting the earnest money deposit amount.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be final.
