accepted.
2. Accordingly, he is admitted into voluntary retirement
with effect from the forenoon of 1-9-2014.

ORDER
Whereas, an order was made vide reference cited,
under sub-section (1) of section 126 of the Puducherry
Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, directing the winding
up of the affairs of the Puducherry Service Providers
Co-operative Society Limited, No. P. 786 ;
And whereas, the financing bank viz. the Pondicherry
State Co-operative Bank Limited was consulted in the
matter of appointment of a liquidator as required under
sub-section (1) of section 127 of the said Act;
And whereas, the Pondicherry State Co-operative
Bank has stated that it has no objection for the
appointment of a liquidator for the said Society;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred
on me under sub-section (1) of section 127 of the
Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, I hereby
appoint Thiru N. Pughazendhi, Co-operative Officer as
the liquidator for the purpose of winding up of the said
Society;
Thiru N. Pughazendhi, Co-operative Officer/liquidator
shall take into his custody all the properties, effects and
actionable claims to which the said Society is or appears
to be entitled and complete the liquidation proceedings
as per law.

ORDER
Whereas, Dr. P. Jayakumar was appointed as Director of
Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute,
Puducherry vide G.O. Ms. No. 20, dated 19-4-2011 of the
Health Secretariat, Puducherry;
2. And whereas, Dr. P. Jayakumar, Director of Indira
Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute,
Puducherry has given notice for termination of his
services in the Institute as per rule 5 (1) of Central Civil
Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1965 with effect
from the afternoon of 5-9-2014 vide his notice,
dated 31-7-2014;
3. And whereas, as per rule 5 (1) (a) of the
Central Civil Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1965,
‘the services of a temporary Government servant shall be
liable to termination at any time by a notice in writing
given either by the Government servant to the appointing
authority or by the appointing authority to the Government
servant;
(b) the period of such notice shall be one month.
Provided that the services of any such Government
servant may be terminated forthwith and on such
termination, the Government servant shall be entitled
to claim a sum equivalent to the amount of his pay plus
allowances for the period of the notice at the same
rates at which he was drawing them immediately
before the termination of his services, or as the case
may be, for the period by which such notice falls short
of one month.’;

4. And whereas, the period of notice shall be only one
month as per the provisions quoted in paragraph 3 above
and therefore by virtue of notice, dated 31-7-2014 of
Dr. P. Jayakumar, his services would require to be
terminated by 31-8-2014;
5. And whereas, the Government intends to accept the
notice of termination from service tendered by
Dr. P. Jayakumar, Director, Indira Gandhi Medical
College and Research Institute, Puducherry with effect
from the afternoon of 4-8-2014;
6. And whereas, Dr. P. Jayakumar, shall be eligible to
receive, the pay for the period of notice running up to
31-8-2014 (being the pay for the period by which the notice
falls short of one month) and such of those amounts (cash
equivalent of earned leave at his credit if any, etc.,) to
which he may be entitled as per extant rules in force, for
the period of service rendered by him and remaining
unclaimed/unpaid to him;
7. Now, therefore, it is hereby conveyed that in
pursuance of sub-rule (1) of rule 5 of the Central Civil
Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1965, the services
