2. Tenders superscribed as “Tender for purchase of
old newspapers (Tamil and English and old rules books)”
should be addressed to the undersigned so as to reach this
office on or before 5-9-2014 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders
will be opened at 4.30 p.m. on the same day in the
presence of the tenderers who are present at that time
in the chamber of the undersigned.
3. The intending tenderers should remit a sum of
` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) as earnest money
deposit in cash. The same will be refunded to the
unsuccessful tenderers after finalisation of tender. The
tenders received after the due date and time will be
rejected.
4. The intending tenderers may inspect the
old newspapers/old rules books during the office hours
on any working day with the permission of the undersigned.
5. The selected tenderer should make his own
arrangement for weighing and should pay the total cost
of all the old newspapers puls sales tax immediately and
remove the same at his own expenses within 24 hours
failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
No claim on the quality/quantity will be admitted once the
tender is finalised.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any bid or to postpone the auction without assigning
any reason thereof.
7. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be final.
